• FIRST has been conducting Computer Tutorials too. All expenditure related for conducting such tutorials like staff remuneration, certification & other operating expenses are incurred by FIRST with out any return.
• ASAPP Media (in association with FIRST) has adopted one ITI at Belapur under the Central Govt. Scheme – “Public Private Partnership” in the year 2008. By setting a unique Institute Development Plan (IDP), it is up-grading the under-skilled & unskilled manpower up-to well-skilled or multi skilled level. It has started successfully running technical courses to train students as Turners, Fitters, Welders, Wiremen, and Plumbers. It is also training students in Computer Hardware. It is developing a hi-tech infrastructure at Belapur ITI which is in heart of Navi Mumbai on a two acre plot of land. This social programme is headed by Mr. Pratap Padode, Chairman of Institute Management Committee (IMC). The Total 180 students are undergoing the training in this institute.
• A “Modular Employable Scheme (MES)” has been designed on the basis of National Council Vocational Training (NCVT) pattern and will start from the following academic year.
• FIRST intends to start Distance Education Programme at Executive level in association with a corporate entity.
